The topic for June 15 is

Transgressing Nature: What's Wrong with Chimeras?

Eventually, we may be able to create viable hybrids among species – chimeras – including blends of humans and other animals. Laboratory research has already produced monkeys with functioning human neurons, and mice with human immune systems. What's wrong in principle with creating full-fledged chimeras? Is revulsion at such a possibility a reliable guide to what's right? Do our intuitions reflect a truth about moral reality, or might they be revised if chimeras become commonplace?
